Everyone's special dates, in one place.

A clean, focused birthday calendar built for people who care about the people they care about.

Birthdays & Anniversaries

Track birthdays, anniversaries, and any custom recurring date per contact. Add as many event types as you need on a single card.

Reminders on the Day

Get notified via email, ntfy, Discord, Telegram, Pushover, or browser push. Configure reminder times per user so you're never caught off guard.

Contact Cards with Photos

Each person gets their own card with a photo — upload an image or paste a URL, with a built-in crop editor. Add markdown notes for context.

Flexible Date Entry

Don't know someone's birth year? No problem. Month and day are enough. Ages are calculated automatically when the year is known.

OIDC / SSO

Authenticate with any OpenID Connect provider — Authelia, Authentik, Keycloak, and more. Optional auto-provisioning for new users via SSO.

Two-Factor Auth

Secure your instance with TOTP-based 2FA. Password reset via email is available for local accounts when SMTP is configured.

Light & Dark Mode

Follows your system preference automatically. Manually override to light or dark whenever you like.

PWA — Install Anywhere

Works as a Progressive Web App on any device. Install on your phone for a native app feel — check upcoming birthdays at a glance, anywhere.

Always know who's celebrating next.

Install Candlr as a PWA and carry your birthday calendar in your pocket. Light or dark — whichever you prefer — upcoming dates are always one tap away.
